Gerard has shipping in his ancestry – his great-grandfather owned steamers in the South Pacific in the late 19th century. The family link with shipping was re-kindled by joining P&O straight from school. From there travel industry roles eventually led to management positions at Atlantic & Pacific Travel and Holiday Shoppe. In 1994 it was time to put all the learning into practice by starting his own travel agency with his wife Michele... Gerard has travelled widely with his favourite destinations of all including Buenos Aires, Rio, the South of France and the Greek Isles especially Crete.
